In Career and Technical Education (CTE), safety is a major concern and must be prioritized.  Failure to do so could result in costly retrofits, compliance issues, and potential student/teacher health risks. This presentation will provide an overview of the importance of integrating safety and risk management into the planning and development of CTE Programs.  Our presenters will review the risk management aspect of CTE Programs including hazard identification and treatment, preventive and corrective actions, self-inspections, strategies on implementing a centralized safety management system, as well as real-life examples on how all of this was executed at a PSWCT/UP Member School District.

Event Details:  Webinar – Virtual Only.

Elizabeth Jakab, Environmental Health Consultant, PSESD
