The third segment of our 5-part series will encompass aspects related to the closure of the claim. The session will explore claim closure requirements, medical information that is typically needed to support claim closure, communication coordination among involved parties, and approaches to navigating potential settlement negotiations. The claim doesn’t always end with the first closure, but a correct closure is beneficial to all parties involved. Participants will also learn when and why to reach out to their claim administration support system, and the employer’s role in claim closure.
