Anywhere where hazardous chemicals are used, or stored spills aka unintentional releases are also bound to happen. The more hazardous the chemical, the more dangerous the spill can be, and the more difficult it is to clean up.

Please join us for this collaboration with King County Water and Land Resources Division Hazardous Waste Management Program.

Our presentation will begin with proactive spill prevention methods, then we will move towards the choices, decisions, and actions that we must make and take once the spill occurs. Participants will be provided with an editable list of spill kit ingredients and a boilerplate spill program that addresses both indoor and outdoor spills and can be adapted to the specific situations and needs of your district. For districts located in King County, we will be sharing information on financial support through the “voucher” program.
