This presentation will provide an overview of mitigating workplace injuries before they happen and what steps to take after an incident occurs. We will address: the importance of conducting a claims trend analysis for each of your sites; why it is important to have site inspections at the worksite and knowing what to look for before and injury occurs; having a hazardous material control system in place for your custodians, maintenance department and even in the classrooms; and the importance of establishing a positive safety culture by getting your staff involved in safety meetings, having periodic trainings, and explaining why PPEs are necessary. Our presenters will leave you with knowledge on recognizing, preventing and mitigating losses before they happen and if something does happen, you will learn how to address the incident.
