Workers’ compensation insurance pays benefits to employees when they are injured or sick because of their job. This session shares and explores key industry best practices for mitigating workers’ compensation claims cost while maximizing injured worker outcomes. We will examine the various cost components associated with workers’ compensation claims, namely medical, indemnity, and expense, and review approaches to containing their costs without compromising the quality of claim handling.
