In the first segment of our 5-part series, we will explore the initial aspects of the workers’ compensation claim process. Starting with the initial injury and the claim filing, we will begin the journey with a deep dive at the investigatory process where participants will learn deception detection techniques and interviewing skills. Participants will also be instructed on the purpose of the Industrial Insurance Act, individual roles and responsibilities of involved players, and techniques to move the process forward.
